The inspirational history of the King James Bible

The inspirational history of the King James Bible

The latest video called, "Unforgettable Story About William Tyndale, in Translating & Publishing the 1611King James Bible", recently added to my "Recommended Videos" playlist on YouTube (link below), has prompted me to write this short post concerning the absolute value and importance of our King James Bible. The history, effort, and sacrifice of others, to get this book in our hands, is inspirational and heartfelt.

I am overwhelmed!!! (What do you think about the history of this book?)

I encourage you to take time to look at the links below and learn about the history of this book so that it might prove itself to you too, that it is indeed the pure 'WORDS OF GOD'.

This translation knocked the wind out my sails

This translation knocked the wind out my sails

Browsing YouTube recently, I saw this video in my feed. (See image above). I immediately noticed the caption showing 2Corinthians 5:14-17, one of my original 'go to' verse references for teaching and encouraging the study of the Bible rightly divided. I thought, WOW!!! I have never seen or heard of many preachers who teach this passage, because it is very controversial. I wanted to know what this preacher was going to say about it, and how he was going to teach it. Without even reading the actual verse onscreen, I clicked the video and found the location of the sermon where the preacher started with this verse.

Then, as he started to read the verse to the congregation, all my excitement and anticipation came crashing down. My first thought was, what is he reading? I don't recognize anything that was coming out of his mouth. Then I read the caption on the screen and thought, "what philosophy book did this come from?" That passage is not even CLOSE to the verses I am familiar with in my King James Bible. Not even the message, or meaning, of these verses' lines up with what my KJV says. I am aware that modern Bible translations are corrupt, but this translation knocked the wind out my sails. I was shocked!!!

THE WORDS OF GOD: KJB or Modern Bibles?

THE WORDS OF GOD: KJB or Modern Bibles?

This EXCELLENT video shows the difference between the King James Bible versus modern translations. It is SHOCKING when one sees the changes that have been made to corrupt the modern translations and it is PROOF that the KJV is ‘THE’ Bible for us in the English language.

Two Types of Righteousness

Two Types of Righteousness

The Bible speaks of two types of righteousness. There is a righteousness of the law and there is a righteousness of faith.

Php 3:6-9  Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.  (7)  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  (8)  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,  (9)  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Paul clearly points to his own righteousness, which is of the law and by man’s works, but then he mentions another righteousness which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.

Wow! How these copyrighted bibles have skewed the Word of God.

Wow! How these copyrighted bibles have skewed the Word of God.

I THANK GOD for the ever-faithful King JamesBible which has stood the test of time, which has been kept pure by the power and preservation of God, which has escaped the corrupt translations of the carnal mind of man, so that we can learn and understand the mind of God, His true intentions and purpose, His will, and His ways for us and for all of His creation.

The word “to” in the skewed verses below is vastly different to the word “of” in the KJV.

The King James Bible - Purified Seven Times

The King James Bible - Purified Seven Times

The word of God is pure, perfect, and preserved throughout all ages.

Psalm 12, verses 6 and 7 tell us "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever." Let's break these verses down part by part.

1. The words of the LORD are pure words

Notice how the verse says that the words of the LORD are pure. Every one of His words are pure (Pro 30:5). The word pure can take on different meanings but in this sense, it means free from defects; perfect; faultless. There is not a single word in scripture which is in error or that God did not intend to be there.

When that which is perfect is come

When that which is perfect is come

1Cor.13:8-12  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.  9  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  10  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.  11  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  12  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

The Corinthian church was established during the transitional period, where Israel, as a nation, and their prophetic program, was diminishing. God was turning His attention to the grace program, under commission of Paul, where both Jews and Gentiles were being saved by grace alone through the cross of Christ, and not by means of Israel.

RESPONSE TO SUCH IGNORANCE

The above commentary is fairly typical of people out there who respond to doctrine and bible studies through arrogance and immaturity. They are the 'know-it-alls' who themselves have closed their hearts and minds to sound instruction and correction. Beware of the advice and vanity they post. Always compare scripture with scripture and ensure you have scriptural proof of any comments and opinions before taking it to heart and setting your faith upon it.
