Why is it that those who argue against the simplicity of obtaining righteousness never tend to strive against the simplicity of obtaining unrighteousness!?

Why is it that those who argue against the simplicity of obtaining righteousness never tend to strive against the simplicity of obtaining unrighteousness!

Have a look at these two verses in Romans 5.

Rom 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

…….

Rom 5:19  For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

There are many people who are fully convinced of our guilt before God because of the sin of ONE man which was imputed to all of us and declared us to be sinners and guilty before God. But I find it interesting that there are very few people who are fully convinced of our justification before God because of the righteousness of ONE man which was imputed to us who believe in Him who declares us to be righteous and innocent before God.

If by one man sin came into the world and death by sin, surely it stands to reason that by one man righteousness came into the world and life by righteousness.

Ask yourself. Did you work for that sin nature? Did you endure to the end in order to receive it? Did you strive to earn or deserve the death that was reckoned to you? No! of course not. So why would you think that you can work for, or endure to the end to earn or deserve life and righteousness?

Death is accounted to ONE man. Similarly, life is accounted to ONE man. At the end of our lives, we receive either death or life, and it all comes down to which administration we find ourselves in. If we remain in the administration of the First Adam, we have eternal death. If we choose the administration of the Second Adam, we have eternal life. To be translated into the administration of life, all we do is believe in Christ, that by the power of His death and resurrection, we have died to death and are raised to eternal life.

Col 1:13-14  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  (14)  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Adam’s sin made many unrighteous. Likewise, Christ’s righteousness makes many righteous. How is it that God can account me righteous (when I believe in Jesus)? Because Jesus is righteous, and His righteousness is imputed to me, not by working, nor earning, nor enduring to the end for it, but by having faith in Him!  It’s as simple as that!
