It is SAD but also DESTRUCTIVE how people mix doctrines up and get the gospels so confused.

It is SAD but also DESTRUCTIVE how people mix doctrines up and get the gospels so confused.

Below is a comment by someone trying to 'correct' the presentation of the grace gospel. Even if they were well-meaning in their intent, their ignorance is dangerous and can lead people down a path of lies. It is sad that this happens so often today in this world of social media where everyone wants to have their say. Information is rampant and much of it is not in align with the truth that comes plain and clear when one studies the Word of God. To study the Word and get clarity on the rightly divided truth, being able to distinguish between the prophetic and mystery programs, is a rare quality and of great value today.

Paul uses the phrase, "mark them", twice in his epistles. Once to identify people to avoid, and the other to align with people who walk as per the example of Paul.

Rom 16:17  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Php 3:17  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Make sure that you set your mark on the people who teach the right doctrine and follow their example. The rest should be avoided who do not recognize and teach the rightly divided truth, as exampled in the false statement below.

FALSE STATEMENT:

Salvation is conditional. We must fully abide in Jesus Christ to the end of life if we are to be Saved. That is where the promise lies. To say that some books in the bible don't apply to the Gentiles is a lie from Satan, the Jews were cut off so that we could be grafted into the vine, there is no difference between a Jewish believer and a Gentile believer, they are one in Christ. Salvation is conditional with a promise that He who endures to the end will be saved. See Heb 10:26-29.

ANSWER:

The scriptures you quote from Hebrews are from the prophetic scriptures which belong to the Kingdom program for Israel. As the Body of Christ, we are NOT under the prophetic program, but under the Grace program which has a completely different doctrine. You cannot take scripture belonging to Israel and apply it to us. That is precisely where all the confusion and contradiction come from in the denominational churches today.

Furthermore, you are mixing up doctrine from the two programs when you quote that “there is no difference between a Jewish believer and a Gentile believer, they are one in Christ.” This is true for our mystery program today, but if there was no difference between Jew and Gentile in the prophetic program, then why did God ONLY work with Jews through the Old Testament, and why did Jesus ONLY minister to Jews in the Gospels, Mat 15:24?

What Paul quotes (Rom 10:12) is true in the ‘Grace program’. Since Israel’s prophetic program is suspended and not in operation today, salvation through the cross of Christ goes out to ALL nations, Jew, and Gentile. In this regard, and under Paul’s mystery doctrine, ALL men are equal. However, in the prophetic doctrine for Israel, Jews were preeminent and chosen as God’s special nation, Ex 19:5–6; Rom 9:3–5, while the Gentiles were lost and without God in this world, Eph 2:11–13.

Concerning salvation being conditional; you are correct IF you were a Jew in the prophetic Kingdom program. If one did not repent, get water baptized and receive the Holy Spirit, you would not enter the Kingdom (Jn 3:5). How about forgiveness. If one did not first forgive one's brother, God would not forgive you, Matt 6:14–15. In the Kingdom gospel, there are conditions to do before one can be saved. You mention enduring to the end. A Jew in the Kingdom program had to endure in their faith to the end. This was a condition for salvation. Jesus taught them that if they put their hand to the plough and looked back, they were not fit for the kingdom, Luke 9:62. He also said that they needed to pick up their cross and follow Him. BUT, as for the mystery program, we believe in the cross work of Christ alone without works, Rom 4:5; Rom 3:28. There is no ‘work’ that we need to do for salvation because the work has already been done by Jesus and is imputed to us. We do not need to ‘endure’ to the end to qualify for salvation because Jesus already endured the cross and death FOR us. If He completed the work necessary for salvation, then that debt is paid. God receives us simply by our trust in His Son. That is why it is a FREE gift, Rom 5:15-16. Mixing the two gospels caused great confusion and false narratives. One can NEVER mix or blend things up else it will never make sense.

Concerning, “some books in the bible don't apply to the Gentiles is a lie from Satan;” Sorry, but what you quote as “a lie from Satan”, is written plainly for our edification in the scriptures. There are TWO bodies of doctrine,

Act 3:20-21 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: (21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, …

Paul says many times that the doctrine revealed to him are mysteries that were NEVER revealed to the prophets. He says that his doctrine is ‘unsearchable’ in the prophetic scriptures, Eph 3:8. There is no way that that which is spoken by the prophets since the world began, and that which was kept secret since the world began, are the same thing. Even the words prophecy and mystery are opposite meanings which cannot be consolidated.

So, to conclude. We have TWO doctrines. Each are unique and distinctly different. Each contradict each other because they are for different people groups, different purposes, and different destinations. The prophetic doctrine is specific to Israel and for the redemption of the earth, hence the earthly, physical nature of their doctrine, and the mystery doctrine is specific to the Body of Christ, hence the spiritual, heavenly nature of our doctrine. If you persist in mixing the two, blending the doctrine and principles of the faiths, you create a false narrative and a confusing mess of things.

I’m not arguing my personal views. What I am writing is scripturally sound and it is clearly discernible in the scriptures if you simply study the scriptures without using some preconceived lens of theology. Believe it or not, 8-years ago, I still had the same views as you. I weaved my way through the Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic denominations, and then back to Baptist for over 30-years. Then I started to really study the Word and learned that to be approved of God and to understand the proper context of scripture (2Tim 2:15), one had to study the scriptures and conclude that one must rightly divide the scriptures between prophecy and mystery, between time past and ‘but now’, as Paul puts it in Eph 2:7-13. When you see this distinction, scripture will become plainly clear, and all that contradiction and confusion, as evident in the modern churches today, will disappear. Keep the two doctrines apart and everything falls into place. Mix them up and you will have a false doctrine not approved of God. The two programs both have their place in God’s greater redemption plan, but they cannot operate at the same time. That is why God blinded the Jews and suspended the program until the mystery program has run its course.

I hope I didn’t come across to strong. Please know that I write this with respect and with humility, but with hope that it will inspire you to go and do some research into what I have said. It will benefit you greatly.
