Below is a summary of the details discussed in the preceding lesson parts of this gospel, as well as additional points that highlight its unique standing in relation to the other gospels in this study. The table will also be a useful means to run comparisons with the other gospels to really get a grasp on the differences and transitions that occurred within each.

Gospel of the Kingdom Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |

The key message of this gospel was that the Kingdom was on offer (at hand) and that the Messiah was coming. Israel had to get ready. |

Works |
Obeying the law, sell one's possessions, endure to the end Matthew 19:16-17 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. (Also see Matt.13:44; Matt.19:21; Lk.12:33) Matthew 6:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Also see Matt.16:24; Lk.9:23; Jn.15:13; Matt.16:25; Matt.6:14) Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. |

Identifiers and Key Points of Doctrine |

Inheritance |
In my current understanding, the inheritance of the saints who died in the truth of the Kingdom gospel would be similar to the Old Testament saints. Both these parties were looking for a coming Redeemer and Messiah. They are currently asleep in Christ, and would experience resurrection at the trump of God during the last stage of Christ's multi-stage second advent. This means that they will awake in resurrection at the end of the Great Tribulation and just before the inauguration of the earthly Millennial Kingdom, which they will inherit. |
Transition |
Ended at the death of Christ and will resume after the Rapture of the Body of Christ. |
Part 7 will continue with the 'origin' of the Gospel of God.
Good job here brother Rudi! 😊. Identification of Christ their Messiah...prophesied about of old in the prophets, was key here. 💗💗💗
